Management of the territory
The natural bounty and landscape of the Krkonoše Mountains has largely been marked by centuries of human presence. Therefore, speaking about an untouched natural world would not be appropriate, so despite the territory's status, management efforts are necessary within the national park. Since the approaches adopted and intensity applied differ across the various parts of the mountains, KRNAP Administration's staff utilise any available information, expertise and even practical experience that has been passed on by many generations of inhabitants in the region.
